This is my Review of Book three of the Fifty Shades trilogy. This is a paperback book. The cover picture is of a pair of handcuffs. This is the book where Christian finally lets go of the resentment towards his biological mother and moves on with his life with Ana. The book starts with Christian and Ana on their honeymoon. Its a bit weird because it felt like I missed something. The writer briefly describe the wedding and the argument the main characters have over the vows of "to obey" but this story begins over halfway through the honeymoon so it takes a few minutes to figure it out and get caught up.
This book has a few new surprises. Ana's step dad is involved in a car accident and Christian spares no expense to help him and even brings his own adopted mother, who is a doctor, in to treat him. Ana and Christian find out they are expecting a child and both react differently. Christian believes that Ana did this on purpose and considers leaving her and Ana is shocked at first but finally comes around. There are problems at work for both of them and Christian finds out how much his family really loves him (as if there was any doubt)when "Charlie Tango" his helicopter, crashes.
Ana finds out her sister-in-law has been kidnapped and she makes Christian think she really wants to leave him in order to rescue Lucy and ends up in the hospital herself. Christian realizes that he really does love his wife and she really wasn't trying to get pregnant and he really can't live without his Ana. All's well that ends well. This book ends exactly how I wanted it to and that makes me happy. I was sad when I finished it, it is sort of anti-climatic.
